In June of 2011, I quit hairdressing and begged for an opportunity to work at a local pet grooming shop. After one year of training I opened my own business. I never imagined it would take me to where I am now. In April 2020, I launched my TikTok account @girlwithedogs. With many businesses closed and people stuck at home due to the pandemic, TikTok was a fun way to cure my boredom, but also a way to educate pet owners on how to care for their scraggly pets. The success of these videos inspired me to continue creating content. Now, you can catch me creating videos full of both educational and comedic content. My goal is to educate people on the importance of animal grooming because it truly is essential to an animals health and wellbeing, and groomers don’t get enough recognition for their hard work and dedication to helping pets.

As a groomer, there’s never a dull moment. Each and every pet is different and provides a new adventure for me. While some are mellow and relaxed, others are chaotic and energetic. But one thing is for sure, it’s hard not to smile and of course laugh, when you’re working with peoples pets.
